Regrettably, documents are also rarely error-free. Due to some minor formal deficiencies, the German Testing Board (GTB) e.V., the Austrian Testing Board (ATB) and the Swiss Testing Board (STB) have decided to release at short notice a mini update of the ISTQB Foundation Level Syllabus 2010. The syllabus has been published in the download area of the German Testing Board website (see: Download section) and Is valid since 1st December 2010.                          

The changes to the syllabus have no effect on accreditations and are detailed in the overview of changes in the German version.
We would like to emphasize again at this stage that Chapter 3.2.1 is an accurate translation of the English original. Only a formatting problem was already corrected in the German translation of the 2010 version of the syllabus. This was done in order to avoid temporary inconsistency between the translated version and the AL syllabus and the old and new FL syllabus contents.
